I am a staff person who might have liked to have gone, except for the part where most staff people have to work until 5 p.m. (I couldn't help but notice that when they sent out the e-mail for this, they did NOT say that staff could attend if they got supervisor approval, the way they do for convocation.) I can't help but wonder about the timing of this.<br /><br />I am surprised there was so much outright support. I don't particularly support her or am on her side at this point myself, but neither am I campaigning for her resignation either. (Frankly, I'm not sure if going chancellor-free for a year while they recruit another one will help anything, or that they'd get someone drastically different anyway.)
