PNAS is nice and they have a section on "classics", not too many yet, but I hope that they will have more in future. I'll use some of these hints/links thanks. -KenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10781944.post-64928621150690575172006-12-12T08:38:00.000-08:002006-12-12T08:38:00.000-08:00There is an existing resource of classic genetics ...There is an existing resource of classic genetics papers and books called "Electronic Scholarly Publishing" at www.esp.org run by Rob Robbins of Fred Hutchinsons that you may want to look at -- except

1) He is mostly focusing on earlier genetic classics -- like Mendel, Morgan, Sturtevant, etc.

2) The site was very active in the late 1990s, but Rob seems to have moved on to other things lately. He was actually funded by DOE at one point, and I suspect the project is no longer funded.

3) The site isn't as "pure" about open access as one may like -- there are "All rights reserved" notices on the site -- but, the site mostly dates from the 1990s when such notices were common.Jonathan Badgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04921990886076027719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10781944.post-34770224997729007542006-12-11T20:11:00.000-08:002006-12-11T20:11:00.000-08:00Tons are available ...
