Back in the saddle. NSF panels. Restored tenure. All the tawdry trappings of a life in pursuit of glory at the expense of integrity.

He has no shame, and we will have no memory.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10781944.post-42687847653712766942008-03-22T03:23:00.000-07:002008-03-22T03:23:00.000-07:00PLoStitution. Why doe...Yeah, but its the principle that counts. Why does everyone always say that downloading and paying for 'high class' journals like Nature is somehow different than a quick and dirty Febs Letters paper or BBRC note? Such a feeble attempt to render the purchase more acceptable!

People should realize that this justifiably disgraced Eisen would have at least been doing an economic service by using the fee paying downloads of a really tatty journal. Helping some down-and-out publisher.

But no. And the NY Times has the effrontry to talk about 'high class fee paying downloads'.

No class is more like it. The real truth is the victim is the journal publisher. Eisen is just using them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10781944.post-13389654496977173362008-03-16T22:53:00.000-07:002008-03-16T22:53:00.000-07:00hahah u totally had me scratching my head until th...hahah u totally had me scratching my head until the elements of the story started to look familiar.. good one there.. haha I have to admit I dun have to Pay per view.. my institute takes care of my visual pleasure thru an institutional account. ;pAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10781944.post-63453504814295170012008-03-16T13:36:00.000-07:002008-03-16T13:36:00.000-07:00@Coturnix.
